Read preview"You look like Clara Bow in this light" is how Taylor Swift begins the closing track of the standard edition of her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," which was released on Friday. But beyond what she's been told by others, by naming the song "Clara Bow," Swift appears to be signaling an affinity with the original "It" girl whose career reached its apex almost a century ago. Ultimately, for Sisneros and Bell, Swift's immortalization of their great-grandmother in "Clara Bow" is a gift they can hand down to future generations. A sex symbol is a heavy load to carry when one is tired, hurt, and bewildered," Bow is quoted as saying in Stenn's biography, "Clara Bow: Runnin' Wild." Advertisement"I feel like she would say the same thing about Taylor," Bell concluded.

The report listed technology as a driver behind our isolation, fear of missing out, conflict, and reduced social interaction. Other drivers of loneliness included social policies, cultural norms, the political environment, and macroeconomic factors. In fact, most research demonstrates that loneliness increases with increased use of technology, especially social media sites." "The response is incredible," Kyle Rand, CEO and cofounder of Rendever, told BI. He added: "The trend to solve loneliness through more technology, when technology has not yet reduced the problem, seems to be going in the wrong direction."

AdvertisementScientists in the UK have developed a self-consuming rocket they hope can be used to reduce space junk. So, if a rocket engine like the Ouroborous-3 can be used regularly, it could help curb space's worsening junk build-up. Kelly Johnson-Arbor said boarding school stabilized her life and helped her overcome shyness. While she had a positive experience, she decided not to send her own children to boarding school. The school gave me extra confidence and a great education, but I don't think boarding school is the right fit for everyone. She had friends who sent their kids to boarding schools, and she wanted me to have that experience. My children are 10 and 12, and given their more comfortable upbringing, I couldn't picture sending them away to boarding school.

King's Bodyguards for Scotland and members of Royal Company of Archers Alex Baillie-Hamilton and Paul Harkness stand guard by the Stone of Destiny at Westminster Abbey during a welcome ceremony, in central London, Britain, April 29, 2023. The stone, an ancient symbol of Scotlandis monarchy, will play a central role in the Coronation of The King in the Abbey on Saturday 6th May. In 1296, King Edward I brought the stone to Westminster. He placed it within the Coronation Chair, the oak seat he commissioned in 1300-1301 and which has been the centre piece of coronations for more than 700 years. In 1996, the UK government announced that the stone would return to Scotland, but would come back to the Abbey for coronations.
